Since 1995, Dr. Bukusi has served as the Co-Director of the Research Care and Treatment Program (RCTP) which includes a UCSF-Kenya Medical Research Institute collaboration. She has more than 27 years of experience conducting research in HIV prevention, care, and treatment among women and men in Kenya. Her research focuses on reproductive health, development of HIV prevention technologies, HIV care and treatment, and ethics in research. She is committed to and passionate about capacity building for research.
